Audio Trimmer

This trimmer cuts an audio file to the part you want and sets its total length, all in the browser. Upload an MP3 or WAV, then trim the start, the end, or a middle section. It's free and runs in your browser, so nothing gets installed.

Load your file and a waveform appears with a handle at each end. Drag the handles to set where the audio begins and ends, or type a target length and let the tool fit the clip to it. Preview, then export the result.

What sets this apart from a plain clip cutter is beat detection. When you trim to a fixed duration, say a 15-second hook for a reel or a clip that has to end exactly when your slideshow does, the trimmer snaps cuts to natural beats and section boundaries. A shortened track sounds finished instead of chopped off mid-phrase, and you can also extend a track to a longer target the same way. That makes it handy for ringtones, presentations, and fitting a song to a video of a set length.

A practical tip: zoom into the waveform before you place the end handle. Cutting on a quiet gap or a downbeat sounds far cleaner than cutting through a sustained note.

Does trimming lower the quality? No. You keep the original samples for the section you select, so the trimmed audio sounds the same as the source.
