Make 8D Audio

This page is also available in other languages: Deutsch, 한국어, 日本語, Español, Português (Brasil), Français

This tool turns a normal track into 8D audio, the effect where the sound seems to rotate around your head on headphones. You upload a song, apply 8D on the waveform, and export the result. It runs in your browser, free, with no install or signup, and works with common files like MP3 and WAV.

To make it: open the studio and add your audio by uploading a file. Add the 8D effect to start the sound moving between the left and right channels. Play it back with headphones to hear the panning, adjust if you want, then export.

A common use is making an 8D version of a song to share, where the audio drifts from ear to ear across the track. You can also trim the song to one section first, so the 8D version covers just the part you want instead of the whole file.

...or paste a link to a song online:
Make sure you have the applicable rights to any audio you submit to Audjust.

One thing to know: 8D audio is a panning trick, not a separate format. The movement lives in the regular stereo file you export, so it plays anywhere, but speakers won't reproduce it. You only hear it circle around you on headphones or earbuds.

You can stack other changes in the same editor too, like slowing the track down or adding reverb, which pairs well with an 8D mix.

The most common question: does it need headphones? Yes. The effect works by shifting sound between the left and right channels, so headphones are what let you hear it move.
