Song Editing Online

Song editing online usually means one of two things: making a track shorter, or stretching it longer to hit an exact time. That's what this free, browser-based tool does. You load a song, set the length you want, and it rebuilds the track to that duration. No signup, no install.

It sounds right because it reads the song's beats and section breaks first. When it shortens or extends, it cuts and rejoins on those natural boundaries instead of dropping a clip mid-phrase, so you don't hear an obvious splice or a clumsy repeat.

To use it: open the editor and add your audio (MP3 or WAV), let it analyze the track, then type a target length or drag the timeline to trim a section. Preview the join, and export when it sounds clean.

...or paste a link to a song online:

A common case is fitting a song to a fixed slot: a 30-second ad, a 90-second reel, a 4-minute routine, a ringtone that has to stop at a set point. Another is tightening a long intro or outro before you hand the track off.

One thing worth knowing: extending works best when there's a repeating section to lengthen from. A song with a clear chorus or loop stretches more convincingly than one that never repeats a part.

The question most people have is whether the edit sounds cut. Pick edit points on the beat, preview before exporting, and nudge the boundary if a transition feels abrupt. Your original file stays untouched, so you can keep adjusting until it's right.
